I don't think the software is needed. How about you connect the camera, go to your My Computer, and open the camera, navigate to the pictures you want, and upload them from there. Or, if you have a Mac, It'll be on your desktop.

You do realize this entry is two years old.. yes?

When I wrote this I was running Windows 2000, and yes at the time I had needed to update Windows for it to work. I've since upgraded to Windows Vista.
